NobamaDem you are right on. This mess is primarily the result of the social engineering policies put in place during the Clinton years. The advocacy for those policies crossed party lines and resulted in the Community Redevelopment Act of 1995 that passed the Senate on a 92-8 vote.

Hey NWScot...have you read the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977? Have you read Bill Clinton's position paper titled "The American Home Ownership Strategy: Partners in a Dream?" If you read these things objectively you will understand that the pols of both parties have fostered this crisis.
